Our Mission
To guide families and transition-age youth through the confusion, fear, and overwhelm of adulthood’s first steps, turning anxiety into clarity, and isolation into partnership.
We help you see what’s ahead, prepare for every twist and turn, and face real risks and challenges with honest, actionable support. Our promise: You’ll never have to wonder, “What now?” or feel powerless in the face of broken systems.
We honor your voice, demystify complex options, and walk with you, step by step, so your family can move forward with confidence, even when the path isn’t clear.
Our Vision
Families that move with a Transition Focused Mindset, no longer feeling alone or “left to figure it out.”
Every transition-age student builds true independence; not just on paper, but in real life; with the relationships, skills, and supports they need to thrive.
TriumVitae exists to challenge the status quo, change the systems that create fear and uncertainty, and light the way to genuine belonging and success for every young adult.

TriumVitae Educational Consulting Founder
A Journey That’s Personal
I’m Dr. Jorge E. Navarro, and my understanding of the challenges of transitioning to adulthood is both personal and professional. As a first-generation college graduate from a rural, working-class, and immigrant family, I’ve faced the challenge of finding opportunity where there was little: balancing life in both the city and the country, and helping my own family bridge difficult transitions.
At 21, I became responsible for raising my two teenage brothers, guiding them through the same decisions and uncertainties so many families face. With patience and persistence, I helped one find a path in the military and the other become an accountant. These early experiences shaped my core belief: every young person, no matter their background or needs, deserves a path forward, and so do their families.
I’ve Lived the Struggle
Having lived and parented through the complexities of neurodiversity, I know firsthand how overwhelming these transitions can be. I’ve developed my own systems to improve executive function and supported my child in doing the same. I’ve seen what’s possible with the right mix of support, hope, and practical tools; and I know how hard it can be to find them.
Professional Expertise, Lived Experience
Over the last three decades, I’ve devoted my career to helping at-risk youth and students with learning differences prepare for life after high school. I hold a doctorate in School Improvement with a focus on special education, and my research has centered on students on the autism spectrum. As a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Vocational Evaluator, and Educator, my experience within the systems in your transition to adulthood means I know how to help families access the resources they need, not just in theory, but in practice.
No Quick Fixes, Just Real Progress
I believe in a long-view approach: starting early, building skills step-by-step, and supporting both students and families every step of the way. I’ve worked in schools, community organizations, and workforce development, always with one goal in mind: helping young people become capable, independent adults; not through quick fixes, but through concerted, caring effort.
Here for Your Family’s Journey
As an educational consultant, I’m here to help your family navigate the complex road from high school to college, work, and independent living. I offer strengths-based, research-informed, and deeply compassionate guidance for students with a wide variety of needs and backgrounds.
You’re not alone in this journey. I’ve lived it, I’ve studied it, and I’ve helped countless families find a way forward. Let’s build your young adult’s bridge to independence, together!
